Projects and Direction

POLO  X PALACE

The Men's Creative Director and I worked with PALACE to create a collection of classic, preppy styles merged with the energy of the cult UK skate brand. This was the fastest selling collection in Ralph Lauren's illustrious history. 

 

I was hand picked by the Creative Director to create a capsule of outerwear, knits, footwear and accessories for this partnership.

POLO MEN'S OUTERWEAR

Senior Design Director for Men's Polo Outerwear I working directly with Mr. Lauren and the Men's Creative Director until 2018.

 

 In addition to design, I managed a team of designers in the creation of each seasonal collection and all 'special projects' under the Polo brand such, as Snowbeach, Stadium, Sportsman, and Hi-tech.

SPORTS EVENT PARTNERSHIPS

Working on the prodigious US Open, Wimbledon, Australian Open tennis tournaments, USA Olympics and Ryder Cup golf tournament in partnership to ensure the vision of both the events managing bodies and Mr. Lauren.

In my role as Sports Programs Creative Lead, I worked as the proxy for both the Men's and Women's Creative Directors. Working on Concept and across all categories of Design, Marketing and PR to ensure the overarching vision was cohesive, from product conception to live event. In addition, I lead our creative product partnership with the committee of each event to make sure our visions aligned.

POLO  WOMEN'S OUTERWEAR

Senior Design Director for all Women's Polo outerwear, including leather, suede and shearling, lead by Mr. Lauren and the Women's Creative Director. 

 

 In addition to design, I managed a team of designers in the creation of each seasonal collection whilst working with the Merchandising teams to develop a best-in-class seasonal offering.

USA OLYMPIC UNIFORMS

Working under Mr. Lauren's direction, I created outerwear for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2018, 2020 and 2022 Olympics USA competitors.  A company mandate stipulated all manufacturing was to be within the US whilst also integrating new brand innovations.

 

The unique nature of the product required a high level of attention to detail, resulting in five or more rounds of prototypes .

 

A key component of the project  was our partnership with the Olympic committee.  Extra care was taken to satisfy the needs of both athlete and the institution.

RLX - 2021 RE-LAUNCH

The Women's Creative Director asked me to reimagine the RLX women's brand. Combining my experience as a RLX Senior Designer RLX from 2009-2013, and my vision of what RLX could be.

 

Using the concept direction I developed RLX was reintroduced in 2021 and is currently Ralph Lauren's fastest growing sub brand.
